Results of AY 2020 Second Semester Questionnaire about Courses

Following the implementation of courses in the second semester of AY 2020, Kyoto University has conducted a questionnaire survey to grasp the current situation and challenges of various courses, including hybrid/online courses, as well as to develop strategies and to reinforce support for the first semester AY 2021. The results are summarized here.

■ Period：　February 10, 2021 (Wed.) ~ February 24, 2021 (Wed.)
■ Survey design：　CPEHE Educational Assessment Office / IIMC
■ Survey method：　Online survey (Japanese, English)
■ Implementation：　notices were given to first semester teachers via KULASIS

■ Target：
　 Second Semester Teachers：1,885
　 Breakdown：full-time 1,528, part-time 357

■ Number of respondents (response rate)：
　 Overall：1,002 (53.2%)
　 Breakdown：full-time 732 (47.9% for overall target)
　 　　　　　 　part-time 270 (75.6% for overall target)

■ Number of valid respondents (response rate)：
　 Overall：974 (51.7%)
　 Breakdown：full-time 714 (46.7% for overall target / 73.3% for valid respondents)
　 　　　　　 　part-time 260 (72.8% for overall target / 26.7% for valid respondents)
