About us

The Kyoto University Center for the Promotion of Excellence in Higher Education pursues development and practice associated with educational systems, including higher education teaching and learning methods, curriculum, assessment and evaluation, educational institutions, and technology and innovation, and conducts surveys, planning, evaluation, advice, and assistance on educational reforms and improvements for Kyoto University from an expert standpoint. It also furnishes the findings of practice-oriented research for the purposes of enhancing educational quality at Kyoto University, and contributes to the advancement of higher education in Japan and internationally.
