How to Use Mentimeter

Mentimeteris an application that can be used to aggregate questions from students and to create quizzes. Kyoto University does not have a contract with Mentimeter, so each instructor needs to create his or her own account to use it. Mentimeter offers three plans, including Free, Basic (fee-based) and Pro (fee-based).All of them require creating an account, but there is no need to create different accounts for a Free plan and a fee-based plan. Users can compare the features of the three plans on the Mentimeter website. One of the major differences between the Free plan and the fee-based plans is that the Free plan allows for only twoquestion slides and five quiz slides for any one presentation, while the fee-based plans set no limit. The Free plan also limits export formats for student responses to PDF, but the fee-based plans allow to exports in both PDF and Excel. Please select a suitable plan based on the features you need. The use of Mentmeter is explained in more detail on the website below. ・"Zoom+a" (informational website created by Professor Hiroki Iwai, Osaka University, only in Japanese)
