The self-paced version of "Introduction to Geochemistry" offered by Associate Prof. Yoji Kobayashi at the Division of Physical Science and Engineering, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia, is starting today! He was an Assoc. Prof. at the Department of Energy and Hydrocarbon Chemistry, Kyoto University, until 2020.

Geochemistry is about using chemistry to understand the natural world around us. Some things we'll look at are how the elements were formed and distributed, and how isotopes can be used to understand the environment around us. Towards the end, we'll also see how geochemistry can be used to combat some of the many problems we face.
